With spectacular 360° mountain vistas and a range of difficulty options, this is an outdoor adventure perfect for all ages. It is mainly a good well laid path but can be difficult to follow in poor conditions.
The top section of the PYG can be quite serious in snow and ice and is an accident blackspot. The views of the summit of Snowdon from the PYG track are also stunning. If the weather closes in when you are on the summit consider descending down the Llanberis path and using the Sherpa Bus to collect your car if you managed to park at Pen y Pass. Much better is to park and ride from Llanberis or Nant Peris.

HOW WILL YOUR GUIDED RHYD DDU PATH WALK BE ORGANISED?
We usually meet in Llanberis at 9am. After a safety brief and kit check we wil take the Snowdon sherpa bus to Pen y Pass and start our walk. The walk should take about 6-7 hrs in total.
