Snowdonia Rock Climbing Course
Snowdonia and North Wales has everything for the rock climber. Classic remote multi pitch mountain routes, roadside multi pitch crags, single and multi pitch sea cliffs (usually sunny) sport routes bouldering and easy single pitch crags to learn the ropes on. All of these are within a 45 minute drive.
Due to the mountains and the rain shadow effect, dry rock can almost! always be found. Gradient adventure offers courses from beginner to expert.
Learn To Climb Course
Learn from scratch and pick up the basics in a 1 or 2 day course. This could either be a taster day or weekend or a more formal instructional course. The course is designed to be fun whilst picking some of the more technical skills along the
way. The course will cover:
- Equipment.
- Movement skills.
- Belaying.
- Knots.
- Abseiling.
Location: Snowdonia, North Wales.
Duration: 1 or 2 days.
Cost: £45.00 per person per day. £80 per person (2 days based on 3).
Experience required: None, suitable for the whole family.
Age limit: 18+ (unless parent/guardian present then min approx 13 yrs).

Learn to Lead Rock Climbing Course
This course is for climbers who want to progress to the sharp end or convert indoor leading to the outdoor environment. The courses will run for 2 days or 5 days. The 5 day course should allow a relative beginner to lead simple climbs. The 2 day course is for the more experienced. The course content will be:
- Route finding.
- Belaying from above and below.
- Tieing in to anchors.
- Placing protection.
- Stance management.
- Holding falls.
- Retreating from climbs.
Location: Snowdonia, North Wales.
Duration: 1 day.
Cost: £120 per person per day (2 days). £300 (5 days).
Experience required: 2 day course, should be happy seconding severe grade climbs and have basic climbing skills. 5 day course, no experience required just a head for heights.
Age limit: 18+ (unless parent/guardian present then min approx 13 yrs).

Multi Pitch Climbing Course
Learn the skills or transfer the ones you already have onto the larger crags of Snowdonia. We will show you the skills to safely tackle your first multi pitch climb. The course will cover:
- Guidebook use.
- Belaying from above and below.
- Multi pitch stance management.
- Retreating from a climb.
Location: Snowdonia, North Wales.
Duration: 1 day.
Cost: £65.00 per day. £120 per person per day (based on 2).
Experience required: Basic climbing skills and able to climb severe grade climbs.
Age limit: 18+ (unless parent/guardian present then min approx 13 yrs).
