Kayaking Courses In Snowdonia
Due to its mountainous terrain and proximity to the sea, Snowdonia has plenty of water and offers a multitude of kayaking venues. Dozens of white water rivers, sedate touring rivers, beautiful lakes and the unique Menai Straits.
Intro Kayaking
Course Description: This is usually lake based and covers equipment choice, safety, different launch techniques forward paddling and basic boat control (going forwards, backwards and turning). There should also be the opportunity to complete a short journey. At the end of the day an optional capize drill session will be offered (very wet!).
Location: North Wales.
Cost: £45.00 per day.
Experience: None required.
Age limit: 18+ (unless parent/guardian present then min. approx 8 yrs).

Intro Whitewater
Course Description: This is for people who have done a little kayaking before and would like to transfer their skills into a more exciting environment. It will cover safety, reading whitewater, breaking into and out of the current and general boat control skills in moving water. It will usually involve a journey on a river or on the Menai straits if river levels are too low.
Location: North Wales.
Cost: £45.00 per day.

1 Day Mini Expedition
Course Description: This is a 1 day mini expedition along the Menai Straits. Lunch is taken with us and eaten on a beach of our choice. It usually involves a trip of at least 4 kms. Not as far as it might sound with tidal assistance!.
Location: Anglesey, North Wales.
Cost: £45.00 per day.
Experience: None required.
